2014 Workplace Excellence

Congratulations to the following winners of the SESHRM 2014 Workplace Excellence Awards!

    Small Category:

    Service First Federal Credit Union

Service First Federal Credit Union was originally established in November of 1934 as Morrell Employees Federal Credit Union.  At that time, membership in the Credit Union was only available to employees of John Morrell & Company and their immediate families.  Today, membership at Service First FCU is available to anyone who lives, works, attends school, or worships in Minnehaha, McCook, or Lincoln County.  Service First is a not-for-profit credit union, which means customers of the credit union are actually “member-owners” who receive better rates and fewer fees than non-credit union members.  Employees enjoy participation in community involvement issues, lunch and casual-wear days rewards for exceeding goals, and shadow programs to see what other jobs within the business.
