Taneeza Islam, Executive Director at South Dakota Voices for Peace and South Dakota Voices for Justice will present on Implicit Bias in the Recruitment Process. Taneeza has worked at the grassroots level empowering communities to know and assert their rights in various nonprofit legal and non legal settings since 2001.

She has designed and conducted Diversity Trainings on Religious Accommodations, Unconscious Bias, and Intercultural Communication for employers such as the Mayo Clinic, Walmart, Macy's, Metropolitan Airports Commission, Saint Paul Children's Hospital and the University of Minnesota Police Department; programs such as Minnesota CLE, EMBE Women's Leadership Program, DMC (Disproportionate Minority Contacts) Sioux Falls Conference, Lutheran Social Services Closer Connections Conference, Sioux Falls Diversity Council, Compassionate Sioux Falls and Abu Bakr As Saddique Islamic Center and Convention.
