Cheri Raymond, Attorney with Lynn, Jackson, Shultz & Lebrun, P.C. will present on Workplace Investigations - Why and When, Internal or External.
Cheri’s litigation practice includes employment law, professional liability litigation, and commercial litigation. Cheri assists clients with employment issues such as non-compete agreements, severance agreements, discrimination claims, and workplace investigations. She has represented clients on discrimination claims at both the administrative level and in subsequent litigation. She also conducts independent workplace investigations for employers, providing an unbiased investigation into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and other employment issues. These investigations occur prior to litigation with the goal of resolving the issue short of litigation.
A native of South Dakota, Cheri graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Nebraska and received her J.D. with High Distinction from the Nebraska College of Law. She then returned to South Dakota to clerk for the Second Judicial Circuit in Sioux Falls before going into private practice.
Cheri serves on the Board for the Helpline Center, and has a personal goal to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. She and her husband have two children, and they enjoy playing sports, traveling, and cheering on the Huskers.
