Exploring employee relocations as an option to attract and acquire the talent your organization needs? Perhaps you are already facilitating employee relocations but want to know how you can now retain this highly-sought after talent. Employee relocations do not have to be expensive or complicated, there are options for any size employer with any size budget. The key is to know how to make each relocation a success.
We are going to cover everything from: Why this topic is a relevant for HR professionals…to What it means when we say “Keeping Your Talent Starts At Home.” We will take a quick look at typical relocation package structures, discuss the Pros and Cons of each. Finally, we will share low-cost and no-cost (FREE) ideas to support your employee relocations.
Rhiannon has relocated throughout her entire life and lived in 8 different states. She has perspective moving as a child for her dad’s job, as a young adult on her own adventure and most recently as a trailing spouse. Her move to South Dakota was eye-opening to successes and failures of relocations. Rhiannon is passionate about individuals loving where they live and finding their place in the community, which is evident in her involvement throughout the community.
Rhiannon moved from Knoxville, Tennessee to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2016 for her husband’s career in agriculture. The move to South Dakota provided Rhiannon the opportunity to start her own business, Welcome Sioux Falls. In 2020 she expanded her scope to supporting relocations with her nationwide brand, The Relocation Companion. Rhiannon currently lives in Harrisburg, South Dakota with her husband, Trevor, and two young sons, Connor and Victor. In her free time, Rhiannon enjoys spending time with family, hiking and traveling!
