The SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK) not only is the basis for the SHRM credentialed exams but outlines a set of competencies critical for successful job performance. 

In this presentation, attendees will learn: 

  • Components of the SHRM BASK including an evaluation of personal strengths and weaknesses.   
  • How to leverage the BASK to be a strategic HR partner for the organization. 
  • Tips to take their career to the next level by integrating competency development into career mapping.
Dr. Trudy Billion brings over 30 years of experience in business and human resources to her passion of leadership and professional development. She is an instructor at the University of Sioux Falls in the Doctorate in Leadership, MBA, and Continuing Education programs. She is also the instructor for the SHRM Certification Prep Course and has guided nearly 150 HR professionals in earning their SHRM-CP and SCP certifications.
