Hello SESHRM Members,
As we move into the heart of summer, I've been reflecting on the strong momentum we've built over the past couple of months. Between our May and June meetings, it's clear that our SESHRM community continues to show up with curiosity, engagement, and a commitment to growing together as HR professionals.
Reflecting on May and June
In May, Brian Stroh's session on Everyday Influence gave us practical and approachable tools to strengthen how we connect with and influence others in our organizations. It was a great reminder that effective HR leadership often comes down to the small, consistent actions that build trust and credibility over time.
Just last week, we had the opportunity to dive into Legal Updates for HR Professionals with Brooke Schmidt. As always, this session delivered timely and important insights on the evolving legal landscape impacting our workplaces. Staying current on compliance and legal considerations is critical in our roles, and we appreciate Brooke's help in navigating these complexities with clarity.
Whether you were able to attend one or both sessions, I hope you walked away with ideas you can immediately apply in your work.
Looking Ahead to July

Staying Connected
As schedules fill up with summer activities, I encourage you to stay connected in ways that work for you—whether that’s attending a chapter meeting, tuning into the SESHRM podcast, or simply reaching out to a fellow member. These connections are what make our community so valuable.
Thank you for your continued engagement and for the important work you do every day. I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive and knowledgeable HR network and look forward to seeing many of you in July.
Warm regards,
Lucinda Noronha
